From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Khachaturov served as Vice Executive Director and Senior Vice Executive Director of BIN Bank. Mr. Khachaturov was in charge of the bank's investment and financial operations. 

From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Khachaturov served as Senior Vice Executive Director of Slavneft, an oil and gas company, where he was in charge of financial operations.

ln 2002, Mr. Khachaturov assumed the post of Advisor to General Director of Rosgosstrakh, Russia's largest insurance company since 1921, and shortly became the company's Executive Director. Since 2004 until 2017, Mr. Khachaturov has been leading the Rosgosstrakh Group of companies.

Under Mr. Klוachaturov's management Rosgosstrakh (Russia) Insurance Company (RGS Russia) grew from a stated-owned company with significant debt to the number one private insurance company with 1500 sales offices, more than 8,5 mln private clients and 300 000 corporate clients all over the country and wide range of insurance products. 

The brand awareness of Rosgosstrakh is now 91% (this is now one of the most well-known brands in Russia).

Since 2008, Mr. Khachaturov has been serving as the chairman of LIGA INSURANCE, where he has continued to utilize his business expertise as we expand into new markets. Under his management and supervision, the company has grown to become the number one insurance company in Armenia.
